Have light-weight concrete floors installed. Need to continue floor area in small area for tile setter. The company that poored the light-weight left us a couple extra bags of the Therma-Floor material to do this, but I can’t remember how to mix it (there are no directions on the bags). Called the company that installed but they are out for the Holidays and my tile guy is waiting. I’m pretty sure they added sand and water to the bag-mix, but I can’t remember exactly.
Anyone know the recipe?
Thanks

Thanks Rez,
I actually got ahold of the installers today and they gave me the mix formula.
Happy New Year!
Care to share it here?
Bear,
Gypcrete mix ratio:
1 sack Thermafloor mix
1.8 cu feet Monterey sand 30 grit
water to correct consistency:
Mixed to a very wet consistency, almost like a wet pancake batter so that it self levels when poured.
It sets up very fast.
They recommend a spray on type sealant that makes the floor less absorbent when finishing with tile (unsprayed and they floor sucks a lot of the water right out of the thinset). The sealant comes in a powder form which is mixed with water and then sprayed.
