   Basically, follow the manufacturer's directions. Coat wall, lay fabric, coat fabric.

   Fiber re-inforcing of old plaster walls isn't usually recommended. For repair of sound walls, there's some good info at http://www.ornamentalplaster.com

   *John:I covered what I do in the recent post, "plaster, vinyl spackle, ... compound." I use the reinforcing method, large 36" wide rolls based on a Mario Rodriquez article in FHB a number of years ago.PRP
