Depends. If you dress well, drive a clean truck or van, can talk without cussing, and advertise you can get $35.00 to $45.00 an hour. You may only work 2 hours a day one day and six the next but I know guys who manage to make a living at it.
never price by the hour... price by the job....
thats the difference between
being in business and creating yourself a job
I know of one guy... a one man band... has a nice well equiped step van thats "not taking any more customers" I know he does good honest work when and how he says and I'm pretty sure he has keys to most of his customers houses... he even feeds dogs, waters plants ect when folks are gone.... on his "has done that list" i know are... directs traffic & parking for customers large house parties, and bartends same... He is their go to guy and seems to enjoy it...

keep in mind your competing with a lot of Retirees who already have a nice check coming in every month and are only looking for something to do and a little extra $$$
I'm sure there are guys charging $20 and guys charging $75. Type of clients, length of time in business, presentation, business skills... they all matter.
