Stuffs crap, You can get real slate for not much more and will last 10 times longer if not more.Labor cost about the same.The problom with synthetic slate is it turns a white cement color after about 25 years and then absorbs water and cracks.Big waste of money.

Saw on TV this week a house being built using Hardie Slate on the roof. But, their website says nothing about this product. Anyone used these shingles before and have anything to say about them? They stated they go for about $200/sq.
