I have to hand it to all you general contractors out there. Now that we’re doing it ourselves, the magnitude of detail/schedules/materials etc. that have to be juggled is often daunting. Thank God for great subs who patiently answer obvious (to them) questions and help in the scheduling/procurement process. We always knew the “general” (well-put) had a critical job — so critical that everything can fall apart (literally) if he’s not on top of the details! I guess this little tribute is also an apology in advance if I take advantage of this great FHB resource to help us complete our house project. Head on over to the Woodshed and I’ll buy a round or two! Tina
