Well, TV is a tool when norm is on?
Too lazy to do my own research right now, but did send in for the coupons.
Anyone found a site that offers delivered converters for the coupons with no extra cash or credit card needed?

The Dtvpal/echostar unit seems to be the best choice, will retail for 39.99, and is scheduled to hit the stores in June. Many states are waiving sales tax on the coupon, so that is likely to be free with the coupon.
A lot of the early boxes have had issues. I'd wait until two weeks before coupon expiration to get a box. Be aware that there are more coupons than boxes, though, so it can be hard to find a box to buy with your coupon.

HDTV has come down in price by about half since it was first introduced.
Check http://www.crutchfield.com for excellent descriptions of how the technology works and where it's going.
