I will be building a new home soon and I’d like some feedback from some experienced people as to the best choice. I will need airconditioning with the system so I assume I’ll have to go with forced air. We have no natural gas so it looks like my choices are oil, propane or electric. I’ve had oil heat before and I know it can be dirty. I hear electric is great but it’s expensive. I am planning on 2×6 walls and 9″ of insulation in the ceilings which is a lot more than most of the builders put into homes here in the Cincinnati area.
