I’m starting design work on a new home, and would like info (unbiased, if possible) on HVAC system design. The home will be in Colorado. I like the idea of radiant floor heating, but wonder about air conditioning. Also, it is very arid around here (10-20% humidity is not uncommon), and most people with forced air (including me) have humidifiers attached to the flu. How is it possible to humidify with radiant (other than leaks in the slab)?
Does anyone know of a good book, simple enough for an architect to understand, describing the options? Thanks!
