Last winter we covered all our finished concrete patios with fir plywood to protect them. We recently uncovered them. They now have orange stains all over them that we can’t get off. We’ve tried ESP, a mild solution of muriatic acid and deck cleaner (with oxalic acid). We didn’t want to get too carried away with the acid because the concrete has integral color added to it. Please help, we like happy clients.

ESP didn't work? Your'e using the wrong thing, try telekinesis.

Been there and done that....we had some staining in a basement from cedar that we stored down there....nothing we tried got it out...some of the things that we tried (muratic acid mixed 50/50 with water) made it worse. Here's the list of things we tried.
TSP
Bleach
Muratic Acid
Soft Scrub (don't ask)
Concrete degreaser
If you find something that works, let me know.

How about hydrogen peroxide? Just a thought.
*b TVMDCDavid, you'd be better off with a latex modifier.

Totally a guess, but maybe Iron-Out would work? This gets out more stains than iron.
