John,
FWIW, I looked at their web site. Their course seems to be a course in their reporting system, not a course in home inspections.
You would probably learn a fair amount about home inspecions from learning a reporting system, but I don't think it necessarily follows that you will learn enough to become a home inspector that way.
I don't know anything about their report, itself.

An extensive list of home inspection training providers can be found at the American Society Of Home Inspectors site at http://www.ashi.com/inspectors/products.htm
There are some good discussions right now for beginner inspectors at the forum at the http://inspectionnews.com discussion boards

I have been to the ashi site. I have also talked to the president of the local chapter. I will check on the content of the class but I am interested in the reporting system. I have a friend who took the class and gets good feed back about the report which he can hand to the people when he is done. I have been a remodel contractor for 25 years so I already have a fair amount of knowledge about homes. I plan to continue my education after the class with an ashi membership and classes they give. thank-you for your imfo and concern
