I have a question. I’m getting ready to put my windows and doors in. And I was wondering, do I or, should I wrap the building with house wrap. I will be stuccoing it later. Around here (San Francisco bay area) They don’t house wrap that much. At least track homes. But should I wrap it? Before I put on my stucco paper and wire. Or should I not wrap and go with the stucco paper an wire. Thanks Hat

Hat,
I don't if you should wrap your house based on your area or not. but Tyvek does make a housewrap for Stucco houses, I think it comes in 4 foot rolls instead of the 9 foot Tyvek rolls. I would probably wrap my house if I were you as I've read on this board how stucco homes can absorb moisture over time...........Good luck

Sounds good. But do I wrap before I put the windows in or after I put in windows or doors. Thanks Hat
I don't like house wrap and I especially think it should not be considered in damp climates and especially where stucco is involved. Stick with the paper, its tried, tested and true. Staple 6" strips of paper around the rough opening before installing the window. Start at the bottom and then do the sides and top overlapping the pieces to shed water. After the windows are installed you can apply the stucco paper and wire.
