I’ve tested a couple different types of housewrap and found both would not pass water vapor . what gives ? . I thought this stuff was supposed to have a certain amt. of permability . I may have to switch to 15lb. felt . conuntus

How are you testing?
Try this method: hold a sample of housewrap over a boiling pot of water (don't burn yourself, please) and a glass pie-plate above the housewrap. If you see steam on the glass pie-plate, the housewrap is allowing water vapor to pass.
Now hold the housewrap over your mouth if you can't breathe through the wrap(don't pass out, please), then it's an effective air barrier.
