I need to remove a basement full of glued down indoor outdoor carpet over concrete slab. Whoever installed it did a heck of a job, ’cause it’s stuck down good. A recent dehumidifer leak on part of it shows that being wet for a long period of time makes it easier to remove. I’m wondering if there’s and even better way to make the adhesive surrender.

Get a H-D razor knife and cut the carpet into strips one to two feet wide max. Then get a scraper under one short edge and peel up enough to get a grip. Then pull.
PS if you have trouble keeping a grip on it, take a couple of pieces of 1x3 as long as your strips are wide, and fire a couple of dozen 1" finishing nails through each one. Then clamp the two pieces nails-to-nails over the carpet with C-clamps. Use the clamps as handles.
