Does anyone have any experience with soldering copper gutters? What type of solder to use and what type of torch would you use to heat up that much copper? The gutters in question are 6 inch box bead high back gutters.

*Tom, I solder gutter as if it were copper tubing; clean, flux, and sweat. Start at one end and follow the torch with the solder. If soldering close to wood, especially hollow, fire-conducting soffits, use a soldering iron. I found mine at a yard sale but they are available at supply companies like ABC. Heat it up with your torch and transfer it to the work.
*b WBA At Your ServiceYour local roofing supplier that sells copper products can get you the soldering irons you need. You should definitely have 2 of them. Use 50/50 lead bar solder with liquid flux.
