I’d like to install 650 sq. ft. of 5/8 thick X 3 & 5/8 wide vertical grain bamboo over a sound retarding membrane and fastening to an oak 3/4 in. T&G existing floor. Does anyone have experience with this grass flooring? What fasteners should I use? I’d like to use a pneumatic gun, if possible. Is 1/8 in. cork a good sound-proofing? The manufacturer told me not to use nails, but to staple it down. Would staples penetrate the oak? Any info on installation or product would be appreciated. Thanks for sharing your experience, Mickey
