Installing an acrylic shower base (Fiat)

The drain just has a few inches long rubber
gasket in it. Just insert the pipe and that is
it? Or am I missing something? I don’t see
any nuts or rings to tighten down. . .

    That's the deal and I don't like 'em. Call me crazy, but I like the king with the threaded collar and locking ring.
