Installing doors and trim on steel studs
What is the best way to attatch doors and trim to steel studs?
I took over a project after the drywall was installed, and would usually have framed the RO in wood, so as not to have a bunch of screws showing. Is there another way to install w/o screws w/o sacrificing strength?

that's a tough one. I've used countersunk screws on the jamb, and a staple gun for the casing (if its light-gage steel). I wasn't happy with the results, but it was the best I could come up with.
Remove the stops and Countersink fine threaded dw screws where they will be hidden by the stops when re-nailed.
As for trim, use construction adhesive for the main bond. Shoot your finish nails at opposing angles to hold the trim while the adhesive sets. Actually, if you are lucky, the nails might do the trick on their own.
I try to put a layer of wood around all openings. Then blocking every other stud space and corners.
Blast away!

Painted or stain grade doors and trim?
Use trim head screws for the door install. Square drive are my preferance. Use light gauge finish nailer cross nailing as suggested fot the trim.

Stain grade, so I think I'll go with the stop removal technique. Thanks for the suggestions!
