My husband & I are remodeling a sun porch that is on the second floor of our home. There is no insulation in the room at all. Our problem is there is only six inches of space between the ceiling and the roof. Two of the walls are the original wood plank siding. The other two can be insulated from the bottem of the windows down. We have great heat loss in this room and the ceiling is the only other possible place to insulate. Standard insulation is out, I guess. We do not like blown insulation and we also had a red squirrel problem bedding in some existing blown insulation. Any suggestions are welcome.
