Hi All,
I’m converting an uninsulated wood storage room into heated living space. Think of it as an garage conversion. The floor is concrete slab, 35ish years old, un-cracked. We haven’t made heating decisions, could be radiant, could be a small wood stove, could be both. For the next couple years the heating will be minimal, just migration from the rest of the house.
I’m thinking of putting down an inch of Dow board and 3/4 t&g plywood as a temporary floor. OK or N’OK ?

This work well. Be sure to install a vapor barrier first, 6 mill poly work best. If possible go for the 2" Dow board for a better R rating ,it will pay for it self in the long run
Thanks for the help, much appreciated.
