I was browsing through Joe Listrbek’s (sp?) “Building for Cold Climates” book at Barnes and Noble today and I turned to the section on insulation. Joe states emphatically that “Cellulose blown solid is not an air barrier” or something to that effect.
What say you all? I’ve pretty well bought into the thought that at 3 lbs/cu/ft it is an air barrier. But reading from Joe that it is not has cast doubt into my feeble little mind. Is there any hard data anywhere on this issue?
