Looking for pics–even snapshots–or descriptions of cool storage ideas for anywhere in the house–kitchen, mudroom, bedroom, office, everywhere (not outdoor storage, though). This’ll be next in the series, after my Kitchen Idea and Andy Wormer’s Bathroom Idea books. Email descriptions and pics to me or snailmail to:

Not fair, Jo! We are nosey and want to know here on the board, please? :)
I have books stored on the recessed top of an armoire in the bedroom (that's my most unusual place), but I like to place books where they're most needed--near the front door for gardening, in all kinds of places in the kitchen; I even have one about tying scarves in my scarf drawer.
My main gripe, because this house has so little storage space, is that I have to line all the walls near ceiling level, to house them all. I need enclosed cabinets (glass fronts preferred, so I can see the titles). They can pick up dust fast!
*b TVMDCJo, Just so Kai won't feel slighted, here is a pic of a useless closet with a single rod I converted to a pantry with split lower section: right half is open for brooms, etc., while left half has full-depth shelves for canned goods. The louvered bi-fold door makes for easier access. BTY, Kai, that's me on the right wondering what project to do next.

Sorry, Kai! I just didn't want to clog up the works with pix, plus I want to sell more books! Sure, post pix here, that's fine.
