I just came across this site describing Japanese architectural joinery which I thought some might find of interest. The Japanese characters will appear as binary characters if you don’t have J language support, obviously, but the illustrations should load okay. If anyone wants the J reading for any of the specific illustrations, let me know.

I had a book detqailing these but I don't think it haad as many or as good.

Those, especially the later joints, are going to take some pretty fancy shooting with the old worm drive.

My Stihl Farm Boss can do that alot easier than any old wormie. Have done 2 timber frames took the time to chisel and fit all the joints 2-3 yrs later they were all opened up, then I said my next timber frame will be done by Mr. Stihl.
