I am remodeling my own kitchen and want to use a Euro style box, and save some $ and spend on drawer hdwr and boxes.
So I think the mail order KD boxes may work well for me.
Anyone have experience with Components Plus or Alpha Cabs?
Any sugestions would be helpful.
Thanks in advance. Tony

Tony,
If you can search (advanced search) you will find the info. Gene Davis uses a couple suppliers and loves the KD systems. Find him or one of his threads.
Best of luck.

Cab parts...
Good company, good stuff...Used em a lot..

I was comparing Cab Parts the other day to IKEA as a source for generic boxes (maybe sourcing the doors elsewhere).
The price comparison works out okay until you get to the Blumotion
drawer slides. IKEA has some sort of OEM arrangement with
Blum that makes it possible for them to offer Blumotion much
cheaper than you can get it a la carte with an outfit like
Cab Parts. If you are building a kitchen with a lot of drawers
and/or pullouts, the cost of high end slides like Blumotion can really add up.
Another thing to be said in IKEA's favor is the use of non-formaldehyde
particleboard. Dunno if that is available with Cap Parts et al.
I have dealt with Ikea before, and you cannot beat the price, but the service was real bad. They discontinued the cab style (for a customer) and did not tell me, they made me wait 2 months for parts, and then they said they discontinued the cab style.
Great price, just need to get what you want the first time threw, I guess.
I faxed Comp Plus for a quote this morning, and see what they come up with.
Thanks.
