I am redoing my OWN kitchen. Yeah, you know how it often is. I work on other peoples houses and don’t have the time or money to work on my own.
Anyway, the time has come to redo my kitchen. I like the quality of Kraftmaid cabinets, but I was wondering about the quality of other manufactures that may have a better price. I’m going for a shaker style in natural cherry with wood doors, drawer faces, and face frames, as well as plywood constructed boxes. Obviously quality is an issue but so is price, so I was also wondering if anyone has had had any experience ordering cabinets on line as well.
Thank you in advance for you input.

Remember, the best deal in cabinets is often the ones you already have -- refaced.
Refacing
Thanks for the suggestion, but refacing is not an option. Looking for all new cabinets.
One vote against Merrillat, even their premium lines. I've had to rebuild two of the upper cabinets that DW overloaded.
I did a budget kitchen last year. I wanted a plywood box, shaker style in cherry finish. Ended up with River Run cabinets. They come flat packed. Finish was very nice, assembly went well (lots of glue, screws and staples) and the cost was reasonable. I was also impressed with the hardware. High load soft close draw slides, durable euro hinges.
