Kitchen Cabinets or Flooring First?

Thanks for all of your replies to my previous post.  Sounds like no real consensus here, just as I suspected.  Mark.

    If its hardwood, floor first. its difficult to nail wood flooring under the kick space. anything else it does'nt matter which is first. Raise the cabinets off the floor the height of the flooring if you install cabinets first.
