Friends,
We need some design ideas for trim to go on the bottom of a plaster hood in a fancy kitchen. We were thinking a band of wood with some mouldings so as to build it up.
Any ideas?

I'll say what people here usually say--can you post some pictures?
What about tile borders? That may go better wit the plaster and would be easier to keep clean.
Danno,
Thank you for the thoughtful idea.
Pictures would help, but I would think twice about using wood over a stove. It usually "gunks up" eventually and can be a real bear to keep clean. The heat/moisture is also a real finish killer.
Dave,
Very true. We will keep that in mind.
