I bought one of these after considering a bisquet joiner and couldn’t be happier. I can see where bisquets would be nice in some places, but the Kreg is fast and easy to use. Comments?

Yup, me too. Love mine when a bisquit isn't appropriate. really well made tool.
*Great.Now what is it?
*My two versions are portable pocket hole jigs. They come with a special square headed screw and a long bit for a drill to join two pieces of wood at right angles or edge to edge. Used with glue they are fast and pretty accurate as well as allowing you to continue work before the glue sets.Dennis
*Plus, the joint is really strong. When I first got it, I did a 3" by 3" right angle joint, with two screws and glue. I've tried to break it, and t would really take some doing. Scooter, there is probably an ad in FH, or definitely FW that shows a picture. I paid about $200 Cdn (although you can get more industrial sized versions for lots more).Great.
*Their a lot faster than biscuits or dowels for faceframes and the best part NO CLAMPING . We finally got a castle brand pocket hole machine and faceframe table for the shop but still take the kreg jig to the jobsite for odds and ends .My brother has been pre assembling door and window casing with it and it works great .
