Hello,
I have been in search for a Rotating Laser Level. A buddy of mine back east has a Quadriga (Ql-200 I think..) but that is out of the price range I wanted to spend. I would like to stay within the 500 -750 range. I been looking around and it seems like this price range is not supported to well by whats available in the market. I am staying away from the HD & Lowes brands as those brands should stick to the power tool market. I am looking for a self leveling unit that I will be using for interior work but I would also like to take it outside and be able to shoot a line for a decent size pathway or footings for a slab. I think I may have to up the price range for these needs…
I know you have to be careful when buying something like this used but does anyone have a good source for used units?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

robotoolz are good lasers, others here like the pacific lasers. I have a robotoolz laser under the PC brand. great laser for inside work, bought a detector for my occasional outside work.
CST has a new series, the LM1000 and LM2000. I have seen the LM2000 for $670 (+/- 1/16" @100'). Amazon does not have it yet.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I am going to go for the CST LM2000, the features & price make a nice combo....

i got one of these last summer and a laser jamb to fix it too.
it works really well and is sturdy with a metal cage around the level.
it comes with a reciever for outside and shoots the line about 300' i think.
