I need to lift a house to replace the sill plate but can’t get under it due to a 12 inch craw space. The outside has cedar shakes on it that have to come off for the repair. I would like to lift it from the box beam above the sill plate with some kind of bracket and jacks. Am I on the right track? What would you do? Let me know, thanks.
