*I will be using them this spring in our new house. They seem to be on par with Marvin and other quality units. We'll mainly be putting in dh's, but have a few casements spec'ed.Matt
*mark,i'm at the finishing stage of a large craftsman style house that loewen windows were speced. the windows are definetly well built in all aspects that i can tell. the frames have multiple stepped profiles that are quite attractive. we cased all of them on 4 sides and found them to be real accurate in their dimensions. primarily most of the windows are casement and work well. their french and sliding glass door units weigh a ton. they were a real chore to set. the whole package was just over $30 k so we had a few to set. i hope you like them if you decide to go with loewen brand.Bob
