Hello all. I’m from Petoskey,MI but just got back from Alaska. I met somone out there that went to a framing school in North Carolina. He claimed it was the best in the country and that it was specific to stick framing. I never got the name of the school but would like to look in to it. Does anybody know the school he is talking about?

Hey Van: I'm from Harbor Springs, MI. You might want to find a very good builder in the area and somewhat serve an apprenticeship. You could learn a lot and make money at the same time. Downstate framers are butchers by my standards, there are framers and carpenters and the two are not the same. I could give you some names of local builders that may need you. The Petoskey news/review always have ads for framers with finish carpenter skills. Good Luck on your search. Regards, Dale
