Those are the door hardware that slides a rod up into the top and down into the floor. Anybody got a source for good ones? As I understand it the Italians make the best ones but since I can’t a source for any I can’t be too choosey

Here is the first one that popped up. Turns out Baldwin makes at least one version.

hey frenchy- i got mine from germany i'll look at work and see if i still have the address . i was told the german have the premier specialty hardware inventory. what i do remember is the bolts were 8'6" w/ 5 slider guards . and the bolts came in 10' foot sections( shipped in a large tube) and cutting ,milling, went on at the job. for another lead i would look into zeluck windows in brooklyn ,new york. (a very fine product) they could give you a possible lead . http://www.zeluck.com....... slainte' bear

I looked for new ones a while back, and discarded all the links because they were so outtasight expensive, like nearly $400 for one set. Try wrecking companies aka architectural salvage.

BAER the big supply book. If you never heard of it try a Google but last I know you can't order on line.
Also a place called KLAFFS in Greenwich, CT. Just installed a Polished Brass Cremone on a pair of Cherry French Doors and it was a nice product and real easy to install. Maybe Klaffs has a website.
