Has anyone used a whole house humidifer/dehumidifier/air purififier like the humidex or the eze breathe? I am considering purchasing one of these type of units because I have a child with bad asthma but I can not find an iependant source that has reviewed eitehr one of these. The web sies make them both out to look great but I am not sure .

Why does the aasthma exist and what makes it worse?
If there is sensitivity to dust mites, fungii, or anything else that grows moreprofusely when the humidity is higher, the problem willget worse with a humidifier.
Thatis the case with me and I found it better to take occasional mist treatments instead of filing the whole house with spores and stuff.
