  2. TLJ | Nov 21, 2003 12:26am | #2

That appears to be a lampoon of the gun control lobby. Don't you think?

    1. 1110d | Nov 21, 2003 12:28am | #3

      That's what I was thinking.

      1. TLJ | Nov 21, 2003 07:05am | #10

Funny how we think alike. Are we talking to ourselves?

        1. 1110d | Nov 21, 2003 05:35pm | #12

I think so, but I'm not sure.  Just wait until I get back.  :D

Damn... Next time a cop stops you and asks you if you have any weapons on your truck is colapsing and hysterical sobbing allowed?

Speaking of which, I was doing some rare cruising on cable and came across some Smith & Wesson rep showing a new .50 calibur handgun. That would be good for making holes to run water lines through floor joists.

I like to use my 12 gauge with slugs. Works well, as long as you need a few holes in a row.

This organization is no joke. I can't believe all of you are belittling this serious safety hazard.

I was so shaken by what I read that I just pledged $1000 to the organization.

In return, they have made me the regional tool safety coordinator for my area, and I'm now authorized to travel to construction sites to register tools, to collect fees from owners who refuse to register their tools, or to confiscate the tools that are on the "Most Wanted" list.

      I even have a title:

Director of Investigating Personnel for the Safety of Hazardous Industrial Tools

While I know there is a certain degree of familiarity between us on this forum, if I do show up at your shop or home to see if your tools are registered, please give me the respect I deserve by referring to me not by my moniker here at Breaktime, but instead, please refer to me by my official title.

      Kindest regards...
