trying to sort through the maze on a new cordless set.looking at millwaukee 18v and makita 18v. need a hammer drill and impact. does the old stlye and new stlye makita batts. exchange like millwaukee? also whats your preference between the two? [i haven’t been able to find a 1/4 18v impact in millwaukee line] thanks larry
hand me the chainsaw, i need to trim the casing just a hair.

just bought the makita 18v combo hammer and impact and love it . it's light charges last longer and plenty of balls
the old 18V slides up into the handle and the LiON slides on to the handle so they are not compatable.

I think makita has the sweetest impact driver on the market, but, I think that the V28 Milwaukee drill and Sawzall are pretty awesome.
I've seen a product cataloge with a 1/4 inch 18 volt milwaukee impact driver. They just haven't released it yet.
Just picked up the LiIon makita 18 sweeeet.
tired of the dewalt batteries...ok bought 4 more of them too. keep saving the dead ones..got over a dozen...is there a way to rebuild them..ok searched that out.have to get them rebuilt or buy all LiIon.
life is so full of dilemas.
gonna pick up the recr. saw and a couple more batteries for the makita.
thats it going to amazon right now.
