the table on my makita ls1013 is hard to turn. i only use this saw every couple of months, i guess i’ll have to take it apart but i was wondering if anyone else had this problem. thanks fred.

Check to see if you got saw dust or a sliver of wood wedged between table and fence. I have had this happen, especially if saw has gotten damp. May have to blow some air at it or poke away to loosen .
IF IT WAS EASY, EVERYONE COULD DO IT !!!
A little graphite powder in the channel works wonders.
Spray all the moving parts down with PB Blaster's TDL( the dry lube) You will have the smoothest running saw around. Lasts quite a while too. Plus a weekly cleaning with the blow gun is alwaysa good thing. I have had my saw for 6-7 years, still smooth as can be. All sliding saws are going to need a little TLC from time to time.
