I am putting cement-fiber siding on a dormer on my house and have prepainted the siding with Cabot 100% acrylic stain as recommended. My problem is that the slightest handling of the painted siding leaves white smudges on the surface. This appears to wash off with a damp sponge, but has anyone else had this problem and will it sponge off?
