I just recently got a reconditioned Metabo Rt. angle drill from CPO metabo, so I thought I would review it here for anyones benefit. The unit is pretty neat. It comes in a steel case, has a good quality metal keyed chuck and an allen key for losening or removing the angle drive piece. The Drill itself runs very smooth. There are no dead spots in the trigger, and the drill runs at 550 RPM max. with triple gear reduction.
I have run up to a 2 inch selffeed bit no problem. The tool didn’t even heat up. Brand new units go for about 280 dollars, while my recon. was 179. Made in Germany, Metabo is a brand I would definetly buy from again. This drill is alot less cumborsome than my D-handle Milwaukee angle drill, and smaller too.
