I have conflicting opinions on installing a metal corrugated roof. Some say to strap the plywood roof (roofing paper on top of the plywood) while other say to put the metal roofing directly on top of the roofing.
Roof has a 10 pitch, 5/8″OSB, 24 on center with H clips. Tybak roofing paper is on top of the plywood.
Recommendations of whether I should strap the plywood or put the corrugated roof directly on the roof. Nailing on the low side of the corrugation. (holes already predrilled)
Condensation appears to be the concern but condensation will exist with the strapping too.
Thanks
Chuck

Follow the manufacturers recommendations.
Some forms of metal roofing can go down on purlins others they want on a solid deck. Some can go either way.
Local conditions, wind and/or snow loads can play a part in which is best. The manufacturer should be able to tell you what works best in your situation.
