I’m in an old neighborhood (in dry CO) and have a wonderful 100-year-old bungalow. For some time I’ve had the wild idea of putting a corrugated metal roof on the house when it’s time to reroof (soon). We own a funky old miners’ cabin in the mountains with one–and have also seen upscale adobe-style homes in NM with them. Imagine my surprise when American Bungalow recently published a small (tiny) pic of a metal-roofed bungalow. Whaddaya think? By the way, we don’t spend too much time worrying about resale value, but we don’t want to be laughing stocks. Be kind. . .
