I am looking for feedback on Milwaukee’s wormdrive saws. I know the Skil 77 is the tool of choice when it comes to wormdrives but i am partial to Milwaukee. I know, brand loyalty rears it ugly head again. Any experiences would be appreciated.

*Get what you like. They're both damn good saws. The '77 was available at HD last time I was in there for, I think, $120. (Bargain)Dog
*i had a milwuakee worm.was a bull of a saw, great for cutting off roofs!problem was the depth adjustment stud's mounted in plastic handle & stripped out. threw it out even though motor ran like new after 5 hard-use years. now own skil mag 77 & am happy with it.
*Way to testify renny! Mags rule! (love that flat table, big improvement over the old steel 77s)
*I saw a whole pallet of Mag 77s at Costco for $125 last weekend. They're $169 at homer depot. Wish I would have got one instead of saving a few bucks on the steel 77 (Man its a heavy brute).
*It is a beast of a saw. But I love my HD. I used the Milwaukee for a couple years and burned the motor. I also tried both DeWalt saws. The first was a good saw and I thought the second was whinier than my ex.
*I got a 7 1/4 and an 8 1/4 Milwaukee worm drive. You just can't kill them.Ed. Williams
