Well, Procrastination does have a price.
Laying against a wall in my basement are about 20 sheets of 5/8 drywall 8 to 10 foot lengths. Unfortunately I had a jammed Sump pump this spring and got them saturated with water that wicked up the sheets. Now they are dry but covered with mold / mildew to a sickening extent.
The question is: dio I just cart them up to the driveway and have a pickup from the garbage guys or can I take the now dry sheets outdoors, dust them off and coat them both sides with PVA or Kilz then use them to line the garage?
Is there a way out of this without just scrapping them?
PS No edible mushrooms yet.

Tool Donations Sought
I'm matching tool donors to a church mission to Haiti - we're shipping a bus converted to a medical facility in (now it looks like) April and can fill it with clothes, tools and all sorts of stuff needed in that poorest of all countries. A few hand tools or power tools can provide a livelihood for an otherwise destitute family. Please email me if you have tools to donate.
Thanks to Jeff and David and Jim and Rich and Steven and Mark and Jason and Shep and Jen and Mike and Joe and Bill and Ken for their offers!
Several donations have arrived! Thanks and God bless!
Thanks.
I just have a hard time throwing stuff away. I just needed convincing.Jack of all trades and master of none - you got a problem with that?
