Hey folks. I am looking for a good source for industry standard moulding profiles. Really looking for a CAD library plug in that uses the WM-xxx terminology. Thought the AWI (American Woodworkers Institute) site would offer something. Know there is a book or CD out there somewhere. Found a suppliers site that offers downloads of select profiles he offers…. but must be having problems with the links. Any advice?

check out dykes site:

*Let me know what you find.
*I can't help you with CAD info. However, Smoot Lumber in Alexandria, Virginia, est. 1858, has a catalog with every moulding profile you could ever want, most of which they stock. From simple stops to massive stacked crowns including some solid stock crowns. For example, page A-11, shows 13 different base caps. Profiles are shown in half scale. If you can't find it there you don't need it. Phone 703-823-2100. Hope this helps.
