I’m trying to match some trim in my condo, but cannot find it at any of my local lumber yards (at least not that their employees can identify from a picture). It is 1X4 softwood, with a “rustic” face on one side. It has the appearance of being run through a jointer that is out of adjustment or has dull knives, resulting in a series of shallow (~1/32″) “gouges” perpendicular to the long axis (see attached image, white is a horizontal run and beige is same material run diagonally). I don’t think this is custom-made, as I have seen it in other places (e.g. restaurants, etc.). Does anyone have a clue as to whether or where this might be available and/or what name it generally goes by?

I've seen paneling made with that pattern, and one would suspect that the trim is made to go with some specific paneling.
cedar?
I've seen cedar 1x material that looks an awful lot like that--usually there's one side that's rougher than the other, sometimes looks like it's been forced through the planer with those knife marks. The stile on the right in particular looks like it. Just a thought.
Yup
Painted or solid color stained rough sawn cedar.
Dunno, the rough-sawn cedar I've worked with was rougher (and uglier) than that. But I haven't dealt with it in 30 years (thankfully).
Looks like sloppy cedar to me. I've seen plenty thta looked like that, just never used it. it looks like it was run through the planer too fast.
