I need help cutting a design in some six inch thick western cedar beams. My partner ordered these for a project without a good understanding of how he was going to cut them. They are going to be the main beams for an arbor. There are six beams, 12 inches by 6 inches so we are talking about twelve ends that need a gentile scroll about 30 inches long. The beams were custom ordered so there is no taking them back. I thought about using a outer and pattern but can’t find a bit large enough also the beams are to large for my handsaw. Please Help.
