A real lumberyard that you have a relationship with should do this for you. Times change and I’m old and retired, but my yard would do the estimating for a new build. They knew they had the job if I got it.
On remodels and additions I did the figuring. There are certainly tricks for figuring and now I imagine some computer program. Whether it has the fudge factor, beats me.
