Didn't someone else just ask
Didn't someone else just ask this same question? I don't think there is much variation in quality in FG batts between the major manuf. Maybe a mfg. rep might disagree somewhat knowing the nuances of mfg, but to us common users, you'll see reasonable consistency. Look for the size and backing you want, but I think even there, they all offer the varieties that most people need/want.
Have you considered cellulose as an option? Also have you considered using high density batts (e.g. R-21 vs. R-19)? I would think those would be better considerations over what brand of FG is best.
