   I am looking for a method of adding strength to a metal stud wall. I need to hang a shelf that needs to hold up to 400lbs. I thought of some type of expanding foam?? I need to give the screws additional meat to bit into and to give the metal stud additiona stiffness.
   if you have any matgerial that meets these two requirements, please let me know
