hi all,
i got a new tool crib catalog in the nail and noticed a couple new bosch worms while flipping through. they appear to have the skill body/motor assembly, but a ribbed magnesium shoe, and a guardthat has been revamped. the guardlooks similar to the one on the dewalt. they are also offering the same saw in a top-handle version. it seems to me like this might be awkward on the wrist with a saw this heavy, though i don’t know exactly how heavy i assume about the same as mag77 (the blade is still on the left though.
has anyone been able to try one of these. it seems like they may finally have addressed the 77’s big weakness (the guard.) i’d love to hear any opinions. i always love reading the worm vs. sidewinder debates.
thanks
