Is it just me? What a sorry lot of articles. If I saw this in a store rather than as part of my subscription, I’d definitely leave it on the rack. Joe H

I had similar thoughts. Sounded like too much designers writting and trying to sell me their ideas.
I hate that designer/architect bs. And what the hell is "museum-grade frames"....as used to describe a picture framed mirror?
Which museum?..........and is the frame museum grade...or are the miters museum grade....and who's grading this stuff for museums anyways?
And could these frames be used in the museum bath....or would they be on display in the museum?
Ya can't write the bs and leave me with all these unanswered questions!
The pics , once again, looked pretty nice....and there are a few details I plan to steal....again......but who decided to let these people write their own articles?

Jeez, guys, you're making me feel like a putz. I thought this issue had some really good stuff in it, compared to the one with a 6-inch thick, concrete, floating vanity top that used a street light reflector for a sink!!
Of course, I AM just a lowly DIYer, who reads FHB because he's fed up with people who do half-a$$ed work and want to get paid for it. At least in FHB I get to see how to do it correctly.
And I lurk in Breaktime, because you never know when a great tip is going to pop up. That and the fact that know you guys really, really do care about the finished product.
So... although I understand your frustration with an issue that doesn't have enough nuts and bolts (or is that sinkers and drywall screws?) to suit you, there is a LOT of value in seeing how people put together two of the most expensive and important rooms in the house.
Heck, one day soon you might suggest a Museum Grade frame instead of a boring plain mirror on the bathrom wall you just finished building. You end up looking like genius, even if there is no such thing as a Museum Grade frame.

"I understand the inventor of the bagpipes was inspired when he saw a man carrying an indignant, asthmatic pig under his arm. Unfortunately, the man-made object never equaled the purity of sound achieved by the pig." -- Alfred ####
>> ... when he saw a man carrying an indignant, asthmatic pig under his arm.
One of Robert Heinlein's characters (probably Lazarus Long, but I'm to lazy to look it up) asserted that bagpipes look and sound like someone squeezing a tartan cat under his arm and biting its tail.
I have a distant relative who specializes in making and playing medieval European instruments.
He contends that bagpipes were made form the family dog after it died. I guess that allowed it to keep the wild animals and burglars at bay a little longer.
